Since her first election, Dávila has been a consistent and strong voice advocating for Paterson residents citywide. Among her key accomplishments are her support and votes for ordinances that protect working families, strengthen fiscal transparency, and expand access to community and educational programs. Her leadership is further reinforced by her professional career at Passaic County Community College (PCCC), where she has continued to serve for 32 and a half years. Maritza Dávila is a public servant and educator with more than three decades of dedicated service to education and community advancement. Her 32-and-a-half-year career at PCCC, culminating in her current role as Director of the Passaic Campus, reflects her proven leadership, management skills, and commitment to excellence.

As an At-Large Councilwoman, Dávila represents the entire City of Paterson, not just one district. She maintains an open-door policy and ongoing communication with residents, working closely with community organizations, faith leaders, educators, and small business owners to build consensus and advance policies that benefit everyone.

Her campaign focuses on protecting the progress already made, expanding opportunity, and ensuring experienced leadership that delivers results. Dávila remains committed to building a Paterson that is safer, better educated, and economically stronger.
