Concejal Luis Vélez alza su voz por el pueblo venezolano: un llamado a la conciencia, la fe y la justicia

Paterson, NJ. — En un mensaje cargado de humanidad, firmeza moral y solidaridad internacional, el concejal del 5to. Barrio de Paterson, Luis Vélez, expresó su profundo respaldo al pueblo de Venezuela, haciendo un llamado a no perder de vista a las verdaderas víctimas de la crisis que atraviesa la nación suramericana: su gente inocente.

Vélez reconoció que, en el marco de la lucha contra el narcotráfico y en defensa de la libertad y la democracia, pueden existir operaciones y acciones que algunos consideren justificadas. Sin embargo, advirtió con claridad que ninguna causa puede permitir que hombres, mujeres, niños y familias enteras paguen el precio de la mala gestión, la corrupción y las decisiones erradas del régimen de Nicolás Maduro.

“Nunca debemos perder de vista a las personas inocentes que no tienen nada que ver con los fracasos y abusos del poder. Ellos no deben cargar con el peso del desgobierno y la corrupción”, expresó el concejal Vélez.

El líder municipal subrayó que su mensaje no es político, sino profundamente humano. Reafirmó que el sufrimiento del pueblo venezolano duele más allá de fronteras, y que la comunidad internacional tiene la responsabilidad moral de mantener viva la esperanza, la fe y la lucha por la libertad.

“We must never lose sight of the innocent people who have nothing to do with the wrong decisions and failures of those in power. They should not carry the burden of corruption and poor governance,” Councilman Vélez stated.
